Void is a dungeon-crawling, card-building rogue-lite made for android devices. This game was created as a demonstration of commercial viability by implementing a monetization model that steers away from the moral ambiguity of lootboxes.
Cards are clearly displayed in a store and are available for purchase using an in-game currency that can either be earned during gameplay or bought using real-life currency (although it's merely demonstrative and generates no revenue).
Over the course of 12 weeks I developed this in a team of three, with my focus on the dungeon. During the project I researched and created my own procedural generation system that automatically generates a random layout of rooms with different encounters in each.
